The Carmel Art Festival turns 30 on May 19-21, 2023. It's a non-profit plein air event that promotes visual arts education for all ages. Proceeds from the festival benefit the Youth Arts Collective, which has supported over 800 young artists in the Monterey Peninsula with studio space, supplies, and mentorship. Other galleries in Carmel-by-the-Sea also host art shows and demonstrations during the festival.
