I had booked a pet friendly room thru a third party. After traveling 3 hours to get there, I found out that the third party did not book a pet friendly room. The front desk people were very good/friendly and accommodated us in another room anyway. We had only been there about 30 minutes and the front desk called our room to make sure we were happy and that everything was to our satisfaction. Great breakfast buffet. Clean room and friendly staff. There was a great Vietnamese Restaurant next door with very friendly staff and awesome food/reasonable price. We do not get away very often, but the next time we do, we will definitely see if this place is available again. Very close to Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf too.

First of all I want to say that the manager Janea Elliott went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The first room on our first night missed the mark for us so Ms. Elliott quickly worked to place us in a different room for our second night. She even had housekeeping work on the room first to accommodate our schedule to visit the Aquarium. Overall a very nice visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast excellent. Coffee terrfic. Breakfast; always had a greeting and smile for us. Room clean and very nice. Day clerk on 17th very helpful when planning our 17 mile drive. Location close to all major sites. Want to complement you on your use of solar energy.

Rosalie at the front desk and especially Teresa, the breakfast server, were terrific! Friendly and so very helpful and competent! The property is older and not as modern as most Comfort Inns in which we stay, but it is second to none in cleanliness and it is unforgettable with its own quaint personality. It is older but fresh paint and lovely flowers make it most hospitable. The room is laid out in such a way that there are mirrors and plug ins available in the bedroom when someone is in the bathroom. The breakfast was excellent. Though there are restaurants close by to drive to, we walked to a Vietnamese restaurant next door which was not only great food but extremely reasonably priced. And, the icing on the cake for this Comfort inn was the extremely reasonable price with breakfast included! I want to go back to stay next time we go to Monterey!

Very clean, and comfortable with an excellent complimentry breakfast. Staff very friendly, especially at breakfast room.Ideal location for exploring the Monterey Area.

I am a solo traveler who does not spend much time in a room. My primary concern is cleanliness. Anything more than that is a bonus. I found this motel met my needs very well - clean, computer access, comfortable bed and the usual hotel free breakfast fare.
